Organic Constructivism

The complete theory: epistemology, learning, science education, cognition and individual-social integration.

Summary

The book systematically presents Organic Constructivism’s epistemology and opposing statements, identifying more and less adequate interpretations of individual, socially shared and scientific knowledge.

Its social dimension introduces the semiotic-community system, a symbiosis of signifiers and the community interpreting them. It develops learning theory, the Student as Learner model, cognition and an integration of Piaget and Vygotsky.

The theory is open to assessment and falsification through internal coherence and empirical questionnaires on epistemological beliefs.
